The San Carlos Apache Tribe announced that it has secured an online sports betting (also known as event wagering) license in partnership with WynnBET, the premier sports betting app from the global leader in luxury hospitality. Tribe Mandates COVID Vaccinations for All Employees

Please be advised that pursuant to Resolution No. AU-21-121, the Council has mandated COVID-19 vaccinations for all employees of the Tribe’s government and subsidiary enterprises within 45 days, or by September 25, 2021, as a condition of employment. This action was taken upon recommendation of the Tribe’s Emergency Response Commission as a response to the substantial increase in infections, including the presence of the variants, which are more infectious and deadly. The year 2020 brought many challenges due to COVID-19. Due to the seriousness of this pandemic and the safety of all tribal members, Tribal Council approved the Stay at Home Order and placed all Tribal Employees on Administrative Leave on March 14, 2020 and continued to extend throughout the year. During this time, employees continued to accrue their Earned Leave. Towards the end of 2020, Tribal Council approved the carryover of all leave earned in 2020 regardless of the Tribe's Policy 901, allowing only 240 hours carryover each year. Monsoon moisture over the past few weeks has reduced the risk of fire danger. Tribal Council approved the recommendation from the TERC committee to rescind the mask mandate for the general public but recommends that unvaccinated individuals continue to wear a mask.
