Recreational Areas Now Open to the Public

Monsoon moisture over the past few weeks has reduced the risk of fire danger. High humidity has increased moisture of dead fuels, rainfall has been spotty, however, Level 2 Fire Restrictions are still in effect. Tribe Prepares for COVID-19 Delta Variant

Chairman meets First Lady and Second Gentleman
admin4terry2021-06-30T15:45:00+00:00The White House invited Tribal leaders from the Tohono O’odham Nation, Gila River Indian Community, Ak-Chin Indian Community, Navajo Nation, and our San Carlos Apache Tribe. Chairman Rambler was very honored to meet with First Lady Jill Biden (wife of President Joe Biden) and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff (husband of Vice President Kamala Harris) in Phoenix today. He presented an Apache cradleboard to the First Lady and an Apache burden basket to the Second Gentleman. Thank you to the White House for the invite.
